Aja is an absolutely fantastic dance instructor. She had taught us in a few beginner’s classes, and we were delighted when she agreed to help us choreograph a wedding tango. I had done a few years of dance before, and my fiancée was a total beginner, but Aja found ways to support and challenge us both. She created a beautiful routine, and she always pushed us to give our best and helped us through whatever we found difficult. We loved it all—and so did our wedding guests. Some people are incredible dancers, some people are incredible teachers, and some people are incredible humans. We had the first dance of our dreams thanks to the dedicated and personal approach from our instructor, Masha. When planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to do something fun and impress our guests with a well-executed and exciting first dance. But there was a problem -- neither of us knew anything about dance, had never taken dance lessons, and had no idea where to start. Thankfully, we hired Masha for private lessons. Masha was very friendly, willing to accommodate our busy schedule, and dedicated to helping us craft the dance we really wanted. Masha helped us select a song, choreographed our moves, and sought our feedback every step of the way. She made lessons fun and gave us the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed. And we did! We pulled off a high energy tango that was tons of fun and impressed all our guests. Most importantly, it is one of our favorite moments from our wedding day.

Under the expert guidance of our private instructor, Aja Fenn, we performed a surprise tango dance for our family and friends at our wedding. Although we each had varying levels of experience, Aja helped to build our skills as a couple. We worked on a mix of technique, feeling the rhythm and emotions of our song, and most importantly, how to respond to each other while dancing. After each lesson, we reflected on how the lesson went, and she made suggestions on what we could work on at home in preparation for the next lesson. We also appreciated Aja's patience and sense of humor, we felt at ease learning from her. We highly recommend working with Aja!
