Tango is back!

Fábrica Tango is a brand new tango school in Washington DC. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our upcoming events and our beautiful new website FABRICATANGO.COM. 

NEW SATURDAY NIGHT MILONGA

Next month we are opening a BRAND NEW Saturday night MILONGA! “Milonga Fábrica”. This milonga will be held every 4th Saturday in a stunning new ballroom in Arlington (please note: this is not the same location as the previous “Arlington Ballroom”, so pay attention to the address before you come!). This beautiful ballroom has a perfect hardwood dance floor, air conditioning, ample restrooms, a dressing room, free onsite parking (first come, first served), a rocking sound system, and to top it all off, it’s minutes away (on foot) from Clarendon metro station. That’s right.. it checks every box folks.

Please join us for our GRAND OPENING night on July 24th. It’s going to be quite the party! Yummy snacks, great dancing, breath-taking music, AND a special performance by Masha and Aja. This will be their first time performing live together for tango dancers.

Masha and Aja will teach an intermediate level drop-in class at 8pm.

4 WEEK TANGO SERIES

A four week series on Saturdays, guaranteed to get the rust off your legs. After much discussion about what to teach after this long pandemic, we decided that some good old fashioned social dance floor favorites is exactly what we all need. So we’re going to teach you our FAVORITE dance floor sequences. The ones we most love to follow and most love to lead. In this series you will fall in love with the music all over again, upgrade your technique, and fill in those all important gaps. Pre-registration is required. COLLABORATION WITH THE ARGENTINE EMBASSY

We recently had the privilege of collaborating with the Embassy of Argentina in creating a video to celebrate PRIDE month 2021. You can watch the video HERE.

We’re also incredibly excited to be collaborating with the prestigious University Club of Washington DC: teaching, performing and presenting Argentine tango as a cultural heritage.

TUESDAY NIGHTS ARE COMING BACK

Our final bit of news is that we have been invited to join ESL at their exciting NEW location in Blagden Alley, one of the hippest parts of DC’s Historic District. Yes that’s right, you heard us correctly folks… the spirit of ESL is coming BACK! More news about this soon…
